- - started piano lessons and ballet classes at 6
- - at 11 switched to violin instead of piano and graduated into the senior class in ballet
- - chose ballet at 17 and moved to Vancouver to study and became semi-professional
- - went to Europe and danced in opera house - ballets in Frankfurt, Wiesbaden and Cologne
- - after 7 years in Germany came back to Canada
- - trained as a draftsman specializing in small house design
- - married and had 2 children
- - played mandolin, took over the South Park School Music program with her sister who plays guitar
- - moved up North, homesteading in the Prince Rupert area
- - eventually went back to the violin and started playing in Celtic bands (Noctiluca, Glenorchy, Celtic Rain, In Cahoots,Nonsuch)
- - performed in music festivals (Midsummer in Smithers, Kispiox, Edge of the World, Starbelly Jam, Kitimat Rollin' on the River, etc) from 2000 until a few years ago when she moved to the Comox Valley (2010)
- - helped host jam sessions in Prince Rupert, performed at Masquerade Balls, Celtic Nights, in cafes
- - played for weddings, banquets, memorial services, small concerts; usually solo but also with harpists or drummers or guitars
- - started writing songs and playing autoharp to accompany herself
- - has been teaching violin for about 15 years
- - got hooked on the hurdy-gurdy in June 2012 and it has taken over her life
